Today I am over at Shell's place, Things I Can't Say, as her "BFF". This is truly an honor for me, as Shell is someone I very much admire in the blogging community. She consistently writes great content and is very supportive and encouraging. She was featured here last week on "Name That Job", which we will play for the final time next Friday (if you are interested in being featured, let me know!). If you are new here, stopping over from Shell's place and are interested in reading my latest typical post, you can check out "If Neighborhoods Were Named More Honestly...".
To everyone else, you know I would LOVE for you to come hang out with me over there and listen to my little story, which contains some silly and some serious (not much) stuff. If you are not able to make it over there, no worries. I will just be sure to ask my husband if I can send you this Superman my son painted to give to him for Father's Day as a "Hey, don't worry about it!" gift.
You don't want it? Not even for the mantle? How about the closet shelf? Wow.
*particularly interesting for any parent of a child with a speech impairment

Thanks for being this week's BFF!
That superman is almost as nice as my crime scene pillowcase I got for mother's day.

Check it out, you will then realize what a special gift that superman is, lol.
That is one nice gift. My mantle is full though, thanks! Congrats on your feature :-)
Hey, I'd take it.
Nothing like a shirtless ripped man on the mantle.
That's what my grandma always said.
I was thinking that the superman would make a fantastic centerpiece for my diningroom table. Is it still available?
You are just so awesome. :)
I just came over from Things I Can't Say. I realized I should probably follow you because you have Coca-cola logos all over your blog! I heart Coke and have a Coke themed kitchen. So, yay! Now, how do I put a few Coke logos on my blog....?
Are you sure that's not the Superhulk?? Looks a bat green to be the Soop himself.
Your post at Shell's was touching. I totally get the Mama Bear reaction!
UT?? No way. We've got some Red River Rivalry here, lol!
Hey that Superman 'aint' so bad. My kid made a little pot LITERALLY out of mud from the back yard with a lid and everything and we still have it displayed on the shelf. She begs me to throw it away but there is something very special about those art pieces that are made with no pretenses by the young! Oh yeah I forgot to mention that I can act all philosophical since every week another crumb of mud falls to its death from my daughter's homemade pot all on its own. You on the other hand will have to decide when it is the right time to use the colorful 'S man' as a fire-starter for the grill! W.C.C.
Hurray! You are Shell's BFF! I'm off to read you!
I'd kill (Lex Luther) for that Superman. Heading over.
You must think I live in a fancy house with a mantel. I have no place that would do that masterpiece justice. That is soooo funny! I don't know how I missed this post. What was the reaction to the gift.

Comments make me feel like I'm not talking to the wall. Don't get me wrong. I love talking to walls. Some of my best friends are walls. Still, I like hearing from you, so thanks!
